Day 1: Arrival & Introduction

• Meet Dino in person for the first time. (Welcome drinks at Svinøya Rorbuer at 7pm)
• Learn about the upcoming days’ itinerary and get an initial briefing.

Day 2: Camera Setup & Practical Photoshoot

• In the meeting room, get tips on setting up your camera for outdoor, natural light portrait photography.
• Embark on a day trip to a scenic location, where you’ll practice capturing portraits within the group and possibly of professional models.
• Lunch break.
• Return to base for photo material downloads and a selection of the best shots.

Day 3: Building Confidence & Street Portraits

• Discuss how to harness confidence and believe in your photographic potential.
• Dive into street photography, aiming to capture at least one portrait of a stranger, with or without behind-the-scenes recording.
• Experience the thrill of creating genuine D-Moments and be part of a special D-Moments video (for those who choose to participate). Your experience and one of your best shots will be showcased on Dino’s social media, complete with tags to boost your exposure.
• Lunch break, followed by a photo and video download session.

Day 4: Solo Approach & Editing Mastery

• For those who are comfortable, it’s your moment to approach strangers for a portrait, supported by Dino’s guidance.
• Download your work and select your top five photos from each day.
• Learn Dino’s unique editing techniques to bring your portraits to life using Lightroom and Photoshop.

Day 5: Gallery Showcase & Reflections

• Present your work in a gallery format, where 15 images per participant will be projected and discussed in the meeting room to analyze and provide constructive feedback.
• Reflect on your experience, share personal stories from your encounters, and celebrate your growth.
• Receive individual advice from Dino, along with his expert compliments and future recommendations.
• Dino will share strategies for leveraging social media, building your brand, and optimizing exposure.

Where to Stay:

Dino will be staying at Svinøya Rorbuer, which is also the location for all briefings, presentations, and editing sessions. This charming and inspiring venue is highly recommended for participants to ensure a seamless experience. However, you are more than welcome to choose other accommodation options, preferably in the Svolvær area or nearby, to make meeting up with the group easy and convenient.

Weather conditions in Lofoten can change unpredictably. Be prepared for possible adjustments to the program, including photo shoots in closer or alternative areas to ensure the best experience and results. Flexibility and a spirit of adventure are key to making the most of this incredible journey!
