Terms and Conditions for D-Moment Photography Workshop
1. General Overview
These terms and conditions apply to participants of the D-Moment Photography Workshop with Dino Serrao held in London, Lofoten, and New York City. By registering for the workshop, participants agree to comply with the terms outlined below. The workshop fee is €2000 per person and covers only the workshop sessions. Travel, accommodation, and food are not included.
2. Registration and Payment
- Full payment of €2000 is required to secure your place in the workshop.
- Payment is non-transferable to other workshops or individuals.
- A confirmation email will be sent upon receipt of payment.
3. Refund Policy
- Refunds are only available if the workshop is canceled by D-Moment Photography due to unforeseen circumstances.
- No refunds will be issued if the participant cancels their attendance for any reason, including but not limited to personal emergencies, scheduling conflicts, or inability to travel.
- In the event of illness or unforeseen circumstances that prevent the participant from attending, the registration fee may be applied to a future workshop at the discretion of the organizer, subject to availability.
4. Satisfaction Policy
- While D-Moment Photography strives to deliver a high-quality and enriching workshop experience, satisfaction is subjective. No refunds will be provided if participants are not satisfied with the workshop at its conclusion.
5. Weather and Climate Conditions
- Photography workshops are conducted rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather (e.g., rain, snow, or high winds), sessions will be adapted to indoor settings or alternative activities.
- No refunds will be issued due to changes in workshop plans caused by weather conditions.
- Participants are encouraged to bring suitable clothing and equipment for both indoor and outdoor sessions. This includes wearing adequate, comfortable shoes suitable for walking and outdoor activities.
6. Force Majeure
- D-Moment Photography is not responsible for cancellations or disruptions caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, government restrictions, or other force majeure events.
- In such cases, participants will have the option to attend a rescheduled workshop or receive credit towards a future workshop.
7. Participant Responsibilities
- Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel, accommodation, meals, and travel insurance.
- It is strongly recommended that participants purchase travel insurance to cover unforeseen disruptions, cancellations, or emergencies.
- Participants must arrive on time for all scheduled activities. Late arrivals may miss parts of the workshop without compensation.
8. Workshop Changes and Adjustments
- The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the workshop schedule, location, or itinerary as necessary.
- Any adjustments will be communicated to participants as soon as possible.
- Changes to the schedule or itinerary do not qualify for refunds.
9. Minimum Attendance Requirement
- If the expected number of participants is not reached, the host (Dino Serrao) reserves the right to cancel the workshop or proceed with a smaller group if deemed feasible.
- In the event the workshop is canceled due to low attendance, all participants who paid to secure their spot will receive a full refund.
10. Equipment and Liability
- Participants are responsible for bringing their own photography equipment (e.g., cameras, lenses, laptops, and editing software).
- The organizer is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to participants’ personal belongings during the workshop.
- Participants must follow safety guidelines and instructions provided by the organizer to minimize risks.
- Dino Serrao and his team are not responsible for any inconvenience, accidents, injuries, or damages that may occur during the workshop. Participants attend and engage in all activities at their own risk.
11. Intellectual Property
- Any photos taken by participants during the workshop remain their property.
- Participants grant D-Moment Photography the right to use behind-the-scenes images or videos from the workshop for promotional purposes.
12. Code of Conduct
- Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards the instructor, other participants, and staff.
- The organizer reserves the right to remove any participant displaying disruptive or inappropriate behavior without refund.
